Adding to the Farewells

Buzznet, you've lost your charm. You've lost what so many of the earlier users loved about you. Mobile photo blogging. Sharing our adventures and lives through photographs. Now, you're a MySpace clone. I tried to make ammends with you and your new system, but all the spam messages from 16 year olds and comments from lewd men just don't do it for me.

So many of my old friends from here have left already. There were quite a few I loved seeing and hearing from. You guys know who you are- I love you and hope all is going well in your lives. Hopefully our paths will cross again, somewhere else along the tubes.

Dearest Buzznet Account,

Dear Buzznet account,

I'm sorry I've negleted you for so long. So long in fact, you now have a journal feature, alond with video and audio features. Alas!

I fear we have grown apart in this time spent awry. Indeed, I miss the 'old you'. You have grown slow with age, you have more friends now... And quite simply, I don't understand you anymore. You were once fun. Now you simply hound me with telling me how many messages and comments I've missed. Not to mention that the current white background reminds me greatly of a sterile dentist's office, of which I loathe so much.

But because I once loved you so much in the past, I'm willing to make ammends. I will once again fill you with pictures of random stuff I find, pictures of my pets, and the stories of my life. I will not give up so easily Buzznet. Let us find again that love we both once knew, in posting pictures and finding new friends who take funny pictures of themselves doing handstands on their office couch.
